Circus Club online !!!

Wednesday, November 29

This is how the new logo (offline-updated soon) looks like. I'm probably adding a 'circus' element in the future. Clowns and stuff, madness, you know...But I'm no designer in every single way. So pls give us a break.
Troy Pierce @ Nachtdigital 2006

No words...I hope one day I can shoot a video like this at one of the forthcoming Circus Club parties.
James Holden playing some polyphony @ Pukkelpop 2006

Well, this week is starting off with some video footage about what it's all about...Madness !!!

Circus club declares war, and a big welcome...

Wednesday, November 8
Hiya there...

Bringing birth to a new blog: Let me start at the start...

Caution: This might sound a bit boring at the beginning.

I'm excited about this new blog, and I hope everybody soon gets as excited as me. It's not that clear where blogs are all about, but I guess that's what people are looking for: A persons view on the world could I say, uncensored and pure. But this blog is a bit different. Not from all of the others, altough it has some history. A year ago I started a blog called Blue Friday. BF was about my life and other things. But also it was an online advertising 'campagne' :) for parties we (= the BF residents) play at in this shithole called Turnhout (In the future I might be referring to it as: shithole, place like this, T-wood, Twatwood, village, farmers place,...)

Just to mention: the people maintaining this new blog are 3 dj's.

Sad story as it was, it was great :) For a year we had some very nice nights out at a small bar: Café Wirwar I shared some stories and pictures about those nights and other stuff on the old blog. Check the old blog here But every story has an end. And so did BF.

So, what the hell is this blog?

Well, it's gonna be similar to the old one. I must say I've worked hard the last weeks to prepare for this blog. So expect some cool graphics, alot of pictures, movies... Circus Club will set new standards for us in the first place and hopefully for you and all the partypeople to experience a night out with tons of happy-joy-joy feelings and good music. We intend to play the best records in underground music and play all of these goodies for all of our friends, you and everybody that is close to what Circus Club will stand for. Minimal, Techno, House and Elektro...Or electronic music in general. This blog comes in a new structure, because I remember I've had some troubles posting in the past. I have so much to tell. But I'm not always sure when and then forget what I wanted to post in the first time. As always you will be free to add comments by a simple click on comment.

Please pay attention to the nice color schemes, letterfonts and interesting links.

What iz you gonna read

Telling the story of the weekend. Everybody works, studies, lives in a top notch loft or a nice small appartment being happy and all. So the weekend is always in the right time. At ease, crazy, laidback, over the top...We all deserve it in some way. And music is our guide here in Circus Club. We attend a lot of cool parties with trendy people and crazy alternative guys'n girls. Every now and then we'll do the best we can to not show you too much, but enough for all the readers to know what was going on the those 48 hours (yes, a weekend is that short) Also we'll probably review the dj's and venues we go to, the records we played last weekend, some pictures and movies. No Big Brother propaganda by the way. Voyeurs surf Here

The weekend being fresh in our memories. Ready for some new music that top our charts? Well here it is: Our top 4,8,10, 35 of the week. At random by our bloggers: Moonwick, Mike-E and me l'Adique. Sometimes we'll be adding nice recordartwork, reviews and other things we think are great. Including classix, cd's and more.

Mayor Quimby dedicated one day in the week to be the 'official movies and series and other things you should watch - day' Reviews, toughts, youtubes, prison break...Also funny things like cartoons and stuff.

Because in the beginning there was Jack, and jack had a groove, and from this groove came the groove of all grooves. But actually I think the writer of this great line wasn't sober. Because before house music and more important, right now besides house music: There's pop, disco, jazz, rock, punk, metal, ragga, reggae, soul, funk, blues, country, classic, hiphop and probably a whole bunch of other things we'd like to share with you. Ps: This has nothing to do with Blue Friday.

Bloody hell, the weekend is about to hit you in the face. With an agenda, some interesting links to websites and the most important thing: forthcoming CircusClub events and goodies. Also we brag about our own updated profiles on myspace, our own dj-schedules. friendly gigs, support...Very serious, my apprentice, this day will be.

Dries aka l'Adique

Michiel aka Mike-E

Jan aka Moonwick
