Movies, moments and more...:)

Tuesday, December 12

Some may seem to like him, others hate him. And that's what a recent poll shows us in the US and A. According to USA Today/Gallup the american actor was chosen "most annoying movie star". No surprise since he recently lost his mind. Leave him I would say because I think he's just sick.

Other big surprises are Angelina Jolie (Who lost his mind?) Robert De Niro and a few others.

But Tom had some nice moments.
Here's a top 5:

(Btw this is Tom Cruise. He looks like an old man here but it's his stupid laugh you should blame.)

1.Magnolia (1999)

An epic movie about life and relationships. Magnolia's many characters interweave throughout the movie's many subplots to create a blur. Tom cruise plays Frank TJ Mackey, a sex guru, who is crude, fake and frank. The closest he ever got playing a real life character.

2.Collateral (2004)

Michael Mann's recent hit Miami Vice was good. But imo this was even better. Tom Cruise plays a hitman, Vincent, who uses a cab driver (Jamie Foxx) to drive him to his killing destinations. Tom Cruise and Jamie Foxx deliver fine chemistry, and it shows their conversations on life and work.

3.Top Gun (1986)

Oldie but goodie. Great entertainment value. Dialogues are a bit girly but fun (sorry girls).

4.Minority Report (2002)

One of my personal favourites (maybe he's ranked 2 low). His first one together with Steven Spielberg. One of the best sci-fi action films to come out lately. Great sfx and plot.

5. > I can't choose between
Born On The Fourth Of July and Eyes Wide Shut. You decide. (Or maybe the original Mission Impossible wasn't that bad afterall, and how could I ever forget Interview with the vampire with Tom as Lestat.)
